So, what's with atheists ruining poor teenagers/kids' souls here on R&S?

If someone you loved died, would you want me to tell you a comforting lie and and let you live your life in ignorance? Or would you want me to tell you the truth, sure it may be difficult at first, but you'll get over it and live a happy life knowing the truth instead of wasting your time with a lie. So why would I lie to a teenager that his life sucks because of god when I can tell him the truth so he can move forward with his/her life?
