I feel like my ex-girlfriend is moving too fast?
I intend to stay on good terms with my ex-girlfriend because I wanna prove that out of all of her bad ex-boyfriends, I can be the only exception, in which I'm the only one who's truly, genuinely good. Lately, I haven't been pleased with what I've been hearing about her and her new boyfriend. On facebook, she's been posting stuff about him in ways of describing and talking. She makes it sound like the way she's treating and describing him is the same as she treated and described me. If a girl is gonna treat and describe her new bf the same way she did her ex-bf, then what's the point of breaking up with the ex-bf in the first place, especially when there were no problems emotionally between us. I just don't think it makes any sense. She only broke up with me because she was afraid her one of her violent ex-boyfriends was gonna eventually hunt me down and hurt me and people were harassing her in-person and online because of him, so she thinks it'd be better for her to see someone from another school an hour away because she thinks it'll be less than likely for her ex-bf to find out about him, which turned out to be total bs shortly after that, he's gonna find out about ever bf she's ever gonna have if he's gonna stay that obsessed about her. She's been telling me some stuff that I really don't wanna hear, but I deal with it. A few weeks ago, she told me she was scared when she passed out and woke up to find her new guy burning half a heart on her chest, whatever that means, and assumed he was possessed. Don't know how that ever got resolved, but shortly after that, her friends told her he was cheating on her. When she got suspicious, he panicked and said stuff like "I love you, I would never do that do you, don't you trust me?" I hear that when a guy says the phrase "don't you trust me?" after you accuse them of cheating on you, that generally usually means that they're guilty of something and they're hiding it, which he did by giving her a $100 promise ring and offering to take her to Texas with him after May this year. Now, she tells me she's pregnant. I honestly think she' going way too fast in all this than she did with me. She was with me for 3 weeks, but with guy for a month. She never got to say she loved me, but after a week, she's already saying she loves him and they're planning a future together. I honestly think she hasn't been thinking straight since after one of her ex-boyfriends raped her. My feelings for her haven't changed, but does anyone else think she's moving too fast? Wouldn't the smart thing to do is date the person for 2 or 3 months to make sure everything is perfect before you do anything rash or hasty too soon only to regret it later?
