Why is my mom doing this to me!!!!!?

In my home i used to talk with all of the people whom i know i used to laugh chat and gosssip with them but my mom didn't used to like it but then also i used to do so because i know them and i was very much practicle to them one day my mom get furious and scold in front of them with filthy words i was astonished that why is my mom doing this to me!!!!!!!!!! ? but at the very time i got the answer that she loves me and wants to make me alert
