What are some ideas do decorate a dorm room?

I'm moving into my own dorm room in the Fall..with no roommate. I'll have it all to myself and am wanting to know some decorating ideas and tips. My room is 12 feet by 15 and a half feet. There are already two desks and chairs, a dresser and bed in there as well as a closet if that helps. I just want to do something creative and decorate my dorm room. I am going to be sharing a bathroom with my friend who will be in the connecting dorm room. We're in a suite...but if you have any bathroom decorating tips too that would be great!
