Small apartment kitchen. Paint/Decor ideas?

Don't do an accent wall - it will chop it up. Keep it as simple as possible...any embellishments will make the small space look too busy. I suggest a mid-tone of whatever color you like - you don't say if you have a backsplash or what kind of cabinetry or color of appliances you have, but don't be shy for color & make the mistake of going too light for wall color or else it will look washed out. Since you probably have minimal wall space, I would also paint the ceiling the lightest tint of the color that you choose. If you have cherry, oak or other woodtone cabinets, I suggest Sherwin Williams 6179 Artichoke & the ceiling 6175 Sagey. If you have white cabinets, I would go to the warmer tones, such as 6128 Blonde with 6126 Navajo White as the ceiling.
