Is 5 months too early to have fallen in love?

Actually I started to feel this with my boyfriend 2 months ago and kind of felt like maybe it was a childish infatuation, but I just keep feeling it grow. Am I being too hasty with my love? I guess I can't help it but I refuse to say anything to him about it until he does.
